se still has to wonder what the pokemon breeders were getting paid for if they couldn't solve this problem of theirs. they're approaching and as they walk, her ears perk up and she mulls over the question posed. "well, i have a salazzle, don't i?" she tilts her head back, pondering towards the sky with both eyes closed. "i think i have the perfect solution for this, too~."

He hummed for a moment, raising his arms to twine their fingers behind his head as they walked along. ”I mean, ya got a Salazzle? I don’t see how that’s relevant, though?” he said with a touch of skepticism, furrowing his brows lightly all the while. His head tilted a tad to rest against his shoulder as he walked along, emerald hues looming upon the woman walking alongside him. ”Like, we’re working with Pangoros, here- not Salazzles or Salandits. They’re completely differ-...”[break][break]

He slowed to a stop as it clicked.[break][break]

his footsteps come to a stop, and following that hers do too. the woman turns her head around, glancing over her shoulder whilst pensively humming into the air. "see? you're getting it." her lips curl into a wider smile, and her hand grips around the band of her bag. she opens an eye, and gives a casual wink.[break][break]

"they pay us for giving the pangoro some action, and i get to make some money in the future with this perfume. it's a win-win~."

”Is it really, though?”[break][break]

The skepticism was clear in his voice, and as if emphasizing it more, he shook his head with a further furrow of the brows, clicking his tongue. ”Like, yeah, money’s sexy? But are you really sure it’ll work?” he spoke with no shortage of inquiry, crossing his arms. He tapped his foot gently against the ground all the while as if impatient, or even just pensive. ”The perfumes work for us, yeah, but what if it’s got a different effect on Pokemon? What if it just, like…makes them more angry, or something?”[break][break]

He thought on it more before giving an eventual sigh, shaking his head and beginning to walk again.[break][break]

”Ah, whatever…”

she shrugs. if things go wrong, then they can just leave the room and wait for the pangoro to calm down. though she doesn't say that; he'd doubtlessly have words against it, anyways. instead, she smiles and waves her hand, dismissively. she tucks the perfume back into the bag "we'll be safe, and this will work. trust me~" [break][break]

"and if anything does go wrong," she starts, raising her hand and pressing her thumb and index finger together, forming a small heart "you'll come to my rescue, riiight?~" she chimes, followed by a snicker and an amused giggle just before (nearly) walking face first into the door.

He pressed his lips flatly with a low, quiet wheeze as he took her arm and gently yanked her a pace or two to the side.[break][break]

”Fuckin’—... I guess…?” he responded, his brows immediately furrowing with no shortage of confusion, concern, and disdain all at once as a faint rise within his tone carried his words through. He glanced over his shoulder towards the employees that guided them in, silently mouthing a quick, ’She’ll be fiiiiine,’ as he traded equally skeptical gazes with them.[break][break]

He crossed his arms once they were properly inside.[break]
Or…outside, technically? Enclosures?[break][break]

Quirking his lip, he looked around at the aforementioned pandas as they did whatever the fuck it was they did before looking back towards his companion, nudging her arm. ”Well…go for it, then, I guess. Send Pele out and spritz them with sexy fumes— whatever the fuck you planned to do.”

"pheromones" she corrects him, though it's in light-hearted fun as she sends out her salazzle to hiss, softly. the poison pokemon takes a glance at the two pangoro who didn't seem.. to feel all too strongly. nothing that aria can't fix, anyways. [break][break]

the lizard brings the trainer to one of the pangoro, a smile to her lips as she pulls out the small, plastic bottle to spritz a fair amount of it onto the large panda. it initially groans at the sudden scent, before the smell fades, and all is replaced with a refreshing rose scent. [break][break]

and with that, she walks back, a smile on triumph on her lips as her salazzle guides her. "alright~" she grins, tucking the bottle back into her bag. "that should be it. i made the dose just a little more potent than usual, so it should only take a mo--" [break][break]

and speak of the devil, the other pangoro lifts itself up from its space, allured by the scent that wafted off the one she spritzed.

”I—... Is—... Is that how it’s supposed to work…?”[break][break]

The look on his face? Confused. Absolutely, fuckin’ confused— but honestly speaking, he wasn’t exactly bothered enough (or qualified enough; that was the more important thing) make give or make a genuinely fruitful or dependable opinion on the matter. He literally just…watched. Watched as she just went straight up to one of the bears and sprayed it in the face. Watched as she came back unscathed, save for some disdainful grumbling.[break][break]

He was shocked that it didn’t come out swinging, but hey— just meant less trouble.[break][break]

”...I can’t believe that actually worked,” he said, his brows furrowed pensively as he watched the remaining creature lure itself towards the newfound scent. His nose scrunched slightly and skeptically, and he pursed his lips as the two seemed to be less apprehensive about interacting.[break][break]

”...How long should the aphrodisiac stuff work its magic, anyways?”

"long enough" she smiles, tugging at a man's sleeve as she turns to (what is hopefully) the door, and not a wall, or the door frame. god help her if she runs into those again. ariadne's lips maintain their amusement, however, attempting to guide a man outside the room with her. "i don't wanna be around when it does work, though." she snickers, making her way through the door and to the owner - who seemed just as confused - so she can collect their reward. it's not a permanent solution.. but worst case, she can sell the perfume to them. another time. long term business plans.
